GPS False Signal Blocking

One recurring source of false signals aren’t really false at all. The equipment used on door openers at groceries, home centers, etc, as well as motion sensor equipped alarms at banks and jewelry stores is the exact same stuff used by the cops. In a strict technical sense, therefore, they’re really not false signals at all. Some brands of detectors imply that they can weed these out. They’re lying. There is a solution, however. Some newer units have incorporated a GPS feature into the detector. If you go past a Hope Depot on your way to work, you can program your GPS equipped detector to ignore one signal at that location. The operative phrase here is “one signal”. If a sneaky cop decides to set up shop nearby, the unit will still beep if a second signal is present. Finally, you’ve got the opportunity for blissful silence when you go past these places.
